“I bought these sandals to take to Europe. I loved them but within four weeks the strap near the buckle started ripping. I had to use electrical tape to keep it together and then gave up and bought new sandals. I was disappointed when I returned home and bought some other shoes and mentioned what had happened and was simply told that they had similar feedback and had now made the straps more sturdy. That’s great to hear but it didn’t help me when I was trying to find new shoes in Croatia!”
“I already own a pair of Sanderlings in Olive, and I love them so much! I was very excited when I saw that Bared now offers a brown color called Nutshell, and I immediately ordered a pair. For some reason, the Nutshell color is not so flattering with my tan skin tone (I even consulted with my BFF), and I didn't love it (this is why I removed one star in my review). So I decided to return them, but now I'm considering another color because the Sanderling is just so perfect.”
“I bought these sandals a few years ago after reading great reviews on how comfy they are. Unfortunately they are still quite uncomfortable for me to wear for more than 2-3hrs. Perhaps the sole doesn’t fit well with the curve of my feet, so my feet end up feeling sore and tired.”

“I want to love these for their style, comfort and ease of wear, however I’ve now had two pairs break on me in the same spot - right foot ankle strap. Super disappointing as they’re so cute and practical but I couldn’t possibly risk buying another pair that might snap on me!”

“I usually love bared shoes but these were a huge miss for me! The second strap closer to the base of my foot digs in when I walk up stairs and leaves painful red marks on my feet. I’ve worn them to the beach and I’ve found that sand leaves white marks on the smooth rubber straps of the shoes and they’re difficult to clean off. I’ve tried to make them work but they’re just not for me”

“Bought this cos of the raving reviews. Really tried to love this but after wearing for 3 hours I was getting blisters from the front rubber straps. For $199sgd this was not worth it. The recycled material is good but the material feels like rubber and really cuts into the skin. Tried to wear it the second time , and this time I was bleeding. Shame”
