“Possibly the worst-fitting shoes I have ever worn. Despite buying a size larger than the size suggested by Bared's ideal size calculator, also a size larger than the Bared formal shoes I have my feet can't fit in these if I insert orthotics or the large inserts Bared provides. The only way they fit is if I use the very thin insert Bared provides and even it is quite tight.
The problem isn't with the length of the shoe - that's fine - it's the width and general space inside them. The shoes are incredibly narrow and flat.
As mentioned, the only way I get my feet into these is if I use the thin inserts but then it's like smashing my feet into concrete with every step: the soles are not very solid or shock-dampening, leaving me with sore knees.
Well, (expensive) lesson learned, I guess: the only shoes Bared is good for are formal shoes.”
