“Despite being measured I think shoes are too big and I keep tripping; be careful as hard toe and stuff sole makes it hard to tell best sizing. Shoes are heavy too and exhausting for all day wear. I was so hopeful. For the expensive price and fitting, I expected more and the shoes now sit unused :(”

We're so sorry to hear the Whimbrel is feeling too big and causing discomfort. It's certainly not the experience we want you to have in our shoes.
Our sneakers are crafted with firm leather and a steel shank that runs from the base of your heel to underneath the ball of your foot. This aids in stability and encourages flex through the forefoot. Coupled with the firm leather, it's not uncommon for our sneakers to feel heavy at first but will soften quite nicely within a few wears.
