“These look and feel great but to obviously disguise the odour of the rubber they have been treated with an overpowering perfume. It’s full on! I’ve washed, sunned, and aired them but they still stink! They were bought to take on holidays but I can’t put these in a suitcase-everything will reek! People walk past them at the door and the smell literally stops them in their tracks. “What is that smell?!”

“Took several weeks of research to finally decide and purchase these. They arrived promptly (I’m in the US and the sandals shipped from AUS) in a terry cloth zip bag. What a novel concept! No shoe box! They also seem to have this nice scent to them - not sure what that’s about but I don’t mind it at all.
Ok so the look is low profile and quite elegant, but it feels like a sturdy sandal. It’s not heavy, but you can tell it has some inner components that make it durable. The buckle is perfect to elevate it from plain to noticeable. I’ve walked in these sandals all summer, around Washington DC and for weeks in the Canary Islands. They are versatile as it gets and I still feel so happy inside when I look at them. So cute!”

“I bought a pair of Sanderlings while on holiday in Melbourne and I did not regret it! These are my second pair of Bared shoes and they are just as comfortable and supportive as my first. I wore them for the remainder of my holiday, walking about 5-8km each day and never had any discomfort, pain or blisters. I have wide feet and the top strap is not tight and surprisingly does not rub my toes like standard shoes. They're also very easy to clean and oddly enough, have a really nice rose-like scent! Would definitely recommend these for day to day wear.”
