“The sandals are very comfortable and the leather soft with no "wearing in" required. However I find them a bit heavy especially in the heel. This has stopped me purchasing more. If the shoes were lighter I would definitely be buying more”

We're happy to hear you are finding the sandals comfortable! Some customers do find our shoes to be a little heavier than other brands. This is due to the fact that all of our shoes are crafted with rigid leathers to provide support, structure and longevity, and a steel shank running inside the sole to help guide your gait and encourage flex in the forefoot.
All of these features coupled together can mean our shoes feel a little heavy to begin with, but rest assured, with consistent wear and applying heat and pressure to the leather, the shoes will soften and mould to the shape of your foot to become more comfortable.
