“As many other reviews have said, the shoes are absolutely gorgeous but the patent leather, naturally, makes them very difficult to break in. I have had tall boots for horse riding (which are full fitted leather up to the knee) that have been much easier to break in. After a few weeks of wearing, I'm hoping I'm almost there. The sole itself is very comfortable.”
“They are very comfortable though patent leather does rub, of course, but I was given the gel pads which work well. Shoes are great. The service was also great. Will be going back to bare for my next shoe purchase.”
“These are very cute shoes that I’m looking forward to wearing in the cooler months. With my dodgy feet I need to pull out the entire insole for a comfy fit but it works!”
Hey There,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate the feedback.
We have just reached out to you privately to ask a few more fitting questions, but our Magic Gel Spots are fantastic with assisting with wearing in a shoe as they help create a barrier between your skin and the leather.
If there’s anything else we can assist with, don’t hesitate to reach out by phone on (03) 9509 5771, live chat, or email at info@baredfootwear.com.
Kind regards,
The Bared Team xx
“Love the alternative foot bed. It accommodates the older foot brilliantly as the foot narrows at the heel and broadens nearer the toes. Bared is the go to if your feet have changed but your passion for cute shoes hasn’t”
“At first, I was so disappointed in the fit of these shoes as they were squeaking and really uncomfortable. I was very close to returning but the costumer service team (most outstanding service) guided me via email to customise the fit using the inserts and gels and I got it perfect. The difference the customisation makes is amazing.
Now I find these shoes comfortable enough to wear for a full office day. They definitely get softer with time and more wear.
I would really love to see these remade with a square toe. The point is great but I find I sometimes kick my toe into things with the point because the shoe is slightly longer than what I am used to.”
