“I love the look of these shoes, I love the slightly pointed toe (and a pointed toe which doesn't pinch!) and the classic but slightly masculine feel of the monk-strap style. I always feel very put together while wearing them.
The fit was great right off the bat, the shoes are, as usual for Bared, very well cushioned and supported underfoot.
The shoe is very robust, I've found the type of leather and sole thickness has meant that the shoe doesn't have as much flexibility as quickly as other shoes. I personally haven't found this a problem, but I imagine for some it might reduce their comfort as the shoe can sometime feel it is moving around your foot rather than with it. I don't mind this as it in part seems to be a sign of good construction and longevity for the shoe, but good to be aware that you might need to wear the shoe cushions to stop rubbing and give it a bit more time to feel like its conforming to the shape of your foot.
Overall I'm very happy with the look and quality of the shoe and would happily re-purchase a pair.”
