“I love the look of these boots. I have many pairs of bared shoes and always buy 39. These boots are a little narrow and hard at the toe. I have taken the inserts out and am trying to wear them in before my trip to Japan. Hopefully they will soften.”
“My first purchase of Bared boots. I’m replacing most of my core footwear to Bared as I suffer from foot aches and pains and am amazed at the comfort and quality of there shoes and boots. I’m a true 7.5wide but usually purchase 8.5 in boots. I got size 39 and replaced the insert with the thinner one they provide in the box. These boots are super cool and comfortable with no break in time.”
“I’m kicking myself. I pined for Bared for years, but I always had some excuse not to order. “I should try them in person first” was the big one, since it is somehow still the case that AusPost can deliver to my address but can’t pick up a return parcel at the same time, and thus sizing by mail can entail shipping parcels in the middle of the week like we live in the 1950s and have nothing else to do. I digress.
Anyway, I was nervous about sizing but gamely ordered according to the size chart, hopeful that I would finally be able to buy decent shoes without having to fly overseas to get them. The boots arrived and I was so blown away by the quality. They are beyond my hopes. They are divine.
But since I was nervous, I contacted customer service with weird questions like, “How do I know if they’re the right fit?” And even though I sounded like a person who has never worn shoes before, I received amazing perfection in customer support. I urge you to send a stupid question to Bared just so you too can meet these wonderful humans.
And then we can all go to brunch together, us new booted besties, and live happily ever after in our hot hot shoes and our short short pants because now I want all my pants shortened so I can show off these boots with my every step.
Because, you see, the sizing chart was right. My boots fit perfectly. They are gorgeous. I put them in their individual protector bags after each wear like I am some kind of person who has never worn shoes before, because I love them so much. Now my only problem is that I don’t wear shoes enough to justify buying 50 more pairs. Yet. I have goals.”
