Taupe was the perfect neutral colour - initially on view, I was unsure about the across-the-foot strap as I wasn't going for the 'Mary Jane' look and was pleasantly surprised when I received them that they didn't give 'that vibe', instead a polished look with a great toe, not too rounded and not too pointed. “I have these in another darker colour and they were comfortable from the first wear which is unusual so I purchased in this lighter taupe colour. The padding around the inside back of the heel helps. And the heel height and block heel is brilliant. Provides some height whilst still being comfortable for standing for long periods and walking. They look fabulous with wide leg pants and jeans. But I'm looking forward to also wearing them skirts/dresses as the weather warms up.”
