“Love the design of this shoe. Great transitional piece, lightweight and easy to wear. Very comfortable to be worn the whole day, especially when I am on my feet a lot. I did have to size down when I tried it in the store, as recommended by the assistant.”
“I really wanted these to work. I loved the elegant shape and super soft leather.
I wish the insoles were removable to be able to fit my own orthotic. I have higher than average arches and need arch support in all of my shoes. This shoe is very narrow, and something about the way the insole is designed makes it such that the contours don't quite conform to my foot. I have an average to slightly narrow foot, and the insole seems like it was designed for super narrow feet. As a result, I don't feel any arch support whatsoever. Customer service didn't advise putting my own insole on top of the built in one, so it made this shoe a non-starter for me.
As for sizing, I am a US 6.5 (but can go up or down a half size), and in European shoes I'm a 36. These were extremely long. There was about 1.5 cm between my big toe and the end of the shoe. I could probably have sized down to a 35.
A lovely shoe, but unfortunately they had to go back. I'll stick with styles that have removable insoles.”
