“So so sad, because I LOVE Bared and spent several months saving up for these: I am a very true size US 9 and am typically a 39 or 40 in EU sizes. I own a pair of Bared loafers in a 40 as well as a pair of their heels in 39 and both fit great, so ordered the Surfbird in a 39. Fit perfectly out of the box, so comfortable, but after several wears the leather has stretched pretty considerably and they’re now way too big… my feet slide around inside and give me terrible blisters. Don’t think I can continue wearing them. Really sad because the quality is amazing, but these really run a full size large. Planning to save up for a new pair in a 38. :(”

“I love that leather is soft and not rigid. It accommodates my big toe and doesn’t press against it. The fit is perfect overall and quality is outstanding! One thing that I would change is the arch support. It is too low. I would have placed it 4-5mm up. It is too close to the heel. The arch support doesn’t align with my actual arch.”
