“I bought these in the red colour with the clear heel. They are gorgeous shoes. The heel strap kept falling down which was annoying, even on the tightest setting. I don’t do well with sling backs so it may be the shape of my heel. I had the straps stitched together at the right spot and it worked well. The heels also came off one after the other. Nate’s repaired them at no cost, and it may have just been a problem with the clear heel structure. Otherwise they’re gorgeous shoes!”
“I really wanted to love Bared Shoes. I spent a lot of time in the store trying different pairs, hesitant to commit, but finally took the plunge. Unfortunately, I regret it. At this stage in my life, I prioritize comfort, especially for work, and these shoes were the complete opposite.
I’ve never had a more uncomfortable experience with footwear. After just one wear, I ended up with blisters on every single one of my toes and have been in absolute agony since. Word to the wise: if you’re unsure, don’t do it. Spending $300 on a pair of shoes only to get blisters isn’t worth it. Really disappointed, especially given how much I wanted these to work.”

We're sorry to hear the Nene's caused you some blisters! That's definitely not the experience we want you to be having.
We use natural leather to construct our shoes - they can be rigid to begin with but are designed to soften and mould to your feet with wear.

“These are an absolute gem as it’s so hard to find nice classy shoes for small feet. They do leave blisters as most pointed shoes do but hopefully after a few wears it gets more comfortable.”
“Beautiful shoes and really comfortable once you wear them in but the back straps CONSTANTLY fall down, meaning you are always trying to adjust them so they don't fall off. Unfortunately this is just bad design - there needs to be some kind of strap or catch between the two separate straps to avoid this. Very disappointing as I had intended to wear these to work every day but they're destined for the bin now.”
