“I debates for AGES on what size to order. I'm a 39/40, usually always a 40 in sneakers but a 39 in sandals. Many reviews said these were too long, so I figured I'd be a 39 in them. I ordered both sizes to compare and both fit me, but I preferred the fit of the 40. It came down to how my pinky toe fit under the front strap: more of it fit under the strap of the 40, whereas just the top of the nail fit under it in the 39 which was not quite as comfortable for me. I wouldn't recommend sizing down unless you have narrow feet (I have wide/flat feet).”
