We're so sorry to hear that your shoes have been scuffed! We know how disappointing it is when a scuff appears!
In highly pigmented finished leathers, there is extra colour and conditioner applied to the surface of the leather. When this surface is scratched or scuffed, the outer pigment can be damaged or scratched which results in the base leather colour becoming visible.
We always use the best quality leathers we can find, but the fact remains that leather is a skin and is not impervious to scrapes and scratches. We do have a great range of shoe care products on our website and in store to help keep your shoes looking fresh. Alternatively, your local cobbler is likely to have a product that will help with the appearance of the scuffs. 🧡
