“The Gallito Black Leather Wedges are the most comfortable low heeled wedge I have ever worn. They saw me through a wedding, reception and long walk home in stifling heat without a single ounce of discomfort, rubbing or pain. For someone who has suffered with foot issues for most of my adult life these and any other Bared shoe for that matter have been a lifesaver.”
“Such a comfortable and supportive shoe for my wide feet and bunions. I can wear these for most of the day without any discomfort or pain. These wedges look great dressed up or dressed down.”
“The adjustable straps back and front mean that I can adjust for each foot. Support under the heel means I can wear them all day without any discomfort. New go to!”
“I wanted to love these. I bought them to replace my much older and well-loved Bared wedges. I like the lower heel height and I find the leather straps soft and comfortable to wear (i.e. no rubbing). However, the heel of the sole is extremely narrow. I don’t have a particularly wide foot and find my heel hangs off either side at the back of the shoe. It doesn’t look very attractive from that end.”
Hi Rachel,
We are sorry to hear that the Gallito Black leather wedges are feeling narrow at the heel for you.
We design our heels to sit beneath the curve of your foot, rather than cradling your entire foot from heel to toe. A little bit of overhang in-between is perfectly ok, as long as you feel supported! Of course, we want you to feel glamorous in your shoes also.
Our lovely customer service team have reached out to you via phone and email.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and turning this experience around.
Have a lovely day.
Warm regards,
The Bared Team xx
