“They are very pretty, and supportive at the arch as per the usual Bared standard. For me, the front of the shoe on my slightly bigger foot is a touch low, making it a bit uncomfortable for the top of my second toe. Hopefully it will soften and settle with wear.”

We are so happy to hear that you love the Myza and they feel nice and supportive for you. Although so sorry to hear that they feel a little firm on the toe.
The leather will definitely get better with some wearing in. We use quite firm leather to construct our shoes so that they retain their shape long term, whilst softening and moulding nicely with wear. The more heat and pressure applied to leather, the more the leather will soften.
Massaging the leather and wearing them around with some thick socks can help speed up the process. See how you go with these tips, hopefully they help and you find they soften and feel much better for you.
