“I needed a summer shoe to take overseas with me. With size 42 feet and prominent bunions I was so impressed with the fit and the look of the Tan leather Finchbill sandals. They were comfortable to wear straight away and they made my feet look elegant.
So hence my disappointment when after only a couple of wears I have noticed that the leather look is coming off the inner sole and also off the ankle straps where they cross over. The heels too are showing signs of scuffing. I am concerned that this shoe is going to look very tired in no time at all.”

“These shoes are incredibly comfortable from the get go and a nice dressy Summer work shoe. However, after only wearing them twice the leather where the straps cross over has started to wear off. Comfort is 5/5 but quality I just can’t rate that high unfortunately.”

“These are super elegant and comfortable for a pointed toe. I’m disappointed with the end of the strap though, it is far too wide for the buckle and very difficult to push through so it takes a long time to put the shoes on and take them off. Im worried that over time this friction will likely end up fraying the leather on the end. I’m not sure why this design was chosen when earlier styles like the Sparrow have a strap which is plaited into a beautiful taper that fits easily through the buckle. My pair also had an accidental tiny blob of glue that was left to dry near the heel. Nevertheless I am keeping them and I’d love to see these in black with the strap issue sorted!”
