“It's a great shoe, though it does take some time to break in. The merlot colour is beautiful, and the design is versatile—perfect for dressing up or down.
If you have wide feet, I’d recommend sizing up for extra comfort. The edges feel a bit firm at first, but I’m hopeful that once broken in, they’ll be just as comfortable as my other Bared shoes.”
“I’ve owned these for maybe two months now but they have still yet to break in and I blister every time I wear them, even if just minimally in the office. I knew a patent leather style would come with some break-in, but these have not let up unfortunately and make me not want to wear them, making the price very tough to justify. I also think these are significantly more narrow and less comfortable than the surfbirds. I did size up to a 39 in these compared to an 38 in the surfbirds, and I tend to be a US size 8 for reference.”

“Love these flats! I have a wide foot and high arches. I've never had a comfortable dress shoe. The molded insole is cushy and has extra padding in all the right spots. Well-made and packaged in individual dust bags and a unique box. Cannot wait to try the heels & sandals.”
