“They are so very comfy! I admit, I think they come up a bit high on the ankle, so it’s taking some time to get used to. But otherwise, they’re nice and comfortable like every other pair of Bared I own.”
“I tried so hard to make this work. I really like Bared and my other purchases have been great. But this one is just painful. I usually size up for sneakers and sports shoes because I sometimes use thick socks, especially during winter. They are usually roomy when wearing regular socks but it's not usually a big problem for me. But with the Carib, I was literally limping home. I took it out for a half hour walk to break it in wearing semi-thick socks, and it wasn't so bad. Then I wore it to work for a 10hr shift (I bought it to use for work), and not even an hour in, the back of my foot was raw and the area a little lower from the big toe (near where bunions are, and I don't have any bunions!) was so just so painful I could barely walk. The shoes were hard and were digging in those places. I have never had these problems with any sneakers or athletic shoes before! The footbed's so nice though and gives such good arch support, so I tried wearing it around the house again a few times then to work again with the exact same results! I don't think my feet could handle any more so sadly, I think I'm gonna have to let these go. Oh, also,that silver bit at the back of the shoes? Worn off after my first walk. It looked like I've been wearing the shoes for ages when it had only been half an hour.”
