“I really wanted to love these. I always order a size 38 in any shoe I order, but right out of the box, I knew they were way too big. There was just over 1.5cm of space in the back of the shoe, clearly indicating that the sizing of the shoe isn't consistent with other typical shoe brands. I bough tthem on sale, so I called customer service. They were great about sending another pair, but they were out of this particular shoe. I had to settle for another model, Buteo. I sized down and when they arrived, they were okay, but I knew as soon as I put on the shoe that they were not very comfortable. I thought I could break them in a bit, so I put in the gel insoles that came with them and wore them to work. I came back with horrible blisters. The shoe shape just isn't for me. I wanted to support the brand because of their social impact and I'm glad it works out for a lot of folks, but they aren't for me.”
