“I purchased these heels earlier this year for an event and this was my first purchase ever from this company. The heels are SO cute! But I agree with the other reviewers that talk about how these heels are large/not true to size. I usually wear an 8.5/9 in shoes, so I purchased size 39. I was concerned about the size & fit (felt like my feet slid forward and left a big gap in the back - did not feel secure when I walked), so I reached out to their customer service. The woman I spoke with via chat said that it's normal to have "at least 1 thumb's width of space from the ends of your toes to the ends of the shoes" and that it's normal to feel like you need to size down in their pointed toe shoes because they "purposely add length and space to the toe box." She also mentioned that since our feet swell throughout the day the extra space comes in "handy." She did offer to send me a size 38 to try and compare, and I wish I took advantage of that. The gel inserts helped a little bit, so I decided to keep the shoes for an event that I had the next day. Big mistake on my part. My feet were killing me and were so sore for the next few days. Not sure if it was because I didn't have a chance to break them in properly (wore them for ~4 hrs straight) or because of the poor fit, or maybe both? I have some other shoes I'm eyeing and would like to purchase from here, so I'll pay more attention to the fit next time and see if a 39 in other styles works for me or if I have to size down. But I definitely recommend sizing down in this style.”
