“I had high hopes for these boots given the $489 price tag, but sadly, they didn’t live up to the expectation. After just one wear, like many others have also reported, the rubber heel came off. They offered to reimburse the repair cost or a $60 store credit. To their credit, this was dealt with quickly and easily.
When I mentioned my disappointment after the reimbursement was processed, I was told it’s a known issue due to a new sustainable heel that contained a higher rubber percentage. If that’s the case, the boots shouldn’t still be on shelves. Fix the fault, then relaunch the product. Knowingly having a faulty product on the shelf just doesn't sit right with me.
Good customer service isn’t just about reacting once something goes wrong, it’s about ensuring the experience is seamless to begin with. For me, this simply wasn’t good enough.”

“I loved these boots. I was not sure at first if these were the boots for me as I have thin ankles. Bared were amazing with their customer service. They allowed me to try two other styles. I ended up choosing Cacique. I have used bed sock bulked around my ankles to solve the bunching issue. My only disappointment was that the heels have fallen off after 3 wears which Bared are fixing. They have great customer service. Looking forward to wearing my boots after they are repaired. I would have given 5 star review if the heels were perfect. Beautiful colour and very comfortable.”
“These boots are the most gorgeous colour, comfy and they fit my wide calves! My only negative is that both the rubber bits on the heel of the boot have come off after only a couple of wears :( I’ve glued them back on but it’s frustrating that this has happened after such few wears & for this price point.”
“The foot fit of the boot is great and really comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot but did not need to swap the soles with the provided kit. Just a warning if you have wide calves and are below average height like me: the widest part of the boot is at the very top of the boot which hits me at the back of my knee and not the widest part of my calf. If my legs were 9cm longer, these boots would fit me perfectly. I can zip them closed but they are skin tight on my calves making them bunch kind of funny at my ankles. I’ll probably keep them because I live in the US and too much of a hassle to return.”
