However, any concerns about these shoes being too ‘heavy’ for me have literally walked away, from the moment I put them on. No wearing in time required - a perfect fit, straight away. Super comfortable, great looking, nicely elevated, smart and groovy, all rolled into one…with jeans or more tailored pants. The loafers are my 4th Bared pair of shoes and just as awesome as the others. They fit in the space between a sneaker and a boot - kinda smart-casual, and just so nice to wear. Also, awesome customer service in both the Qld and NSW stores which has given me confidence to buy online, sight unseen. They didn't let me leave until they’d fitted me to perfection, which was a really nice interaction. Knowing you can adapt your fit according to the type of socks you’re wearing is so helpful.
