“I am very pleased with my Gold Avocet. They are a gorgeous shoe and extremely comfortable. I do not have a wide foot but I imagine that the woven mesh would be quite forgiving to wider feet. A little padding in the upper rear of the heel so I expect no blisters (and indeed have none from my first wearing) which is an improvement in design from another older pair of Bareds. Well done.
The shoe is very elegant in gold and should be quite versatile to wear in winter and summer. Very pleased with my purchase.”
