“This is a beautiful well-made shoe. I always wear 34 in Bared and this fit exactly without socks but would be tight with socks so I will be sizing up to 35. Should have listened to the Bared recommendation to size up!”
“I Ordered 2 pairs of loafers from Bared; the Wedgebill and the Elaenia. I like them both. They are pretty comfortable for right out of the box, and the Fit Kit offers thinner insoles (and forefoot padding) if the standard thicker insoles they come with don’t work. You can of course use your own orthotics. I have been wearing them around the house, and the only issue I have so far is that my narrow heels keep lifting out of the shoes. But then my heels are narrow. I have reached out to Bared to see what other customizations they can offer. I like the insoles - not bad for standard insoles. The metatarsal dome and mid-foot support are nice and not too pronounced.
I chose the Golden Tan Leather & Hardware, and they are really nice looking - just as in the pictures. They are not super heavy nor are they very light. They look well-made with high-quality leather. I can dress them up or down with a pair of jeans. So far this has been a good shopping experience. i would definitely buy from Bared again.”
