The black sole has a squareish pointed area at the toe. This was okay but I found it distracting. I wanted the black sole around the toe area to follow the shape of the boot itself ... so I got my local shoemaker to trim the black toe area to follow the line of the boot. So glad I did. They look perfect now and I love them!”
