“I’ve only worn these boots out once so far, but I walked around the city in them all day and my feet didn’t hurt at all. They’re easily one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I’ve ever owned. I only took off one star because they’re a little tight around the ankle, and after wearing them all day, I noticed that area was a little sore and bruised. I’m hoping they’ll loosen up a bit more with wear, because otherwise they’re fantastic!”
“Update: the customer support team really stayed with this and I was able to get the shoes re-dyed, they have offered to pay for that but also to replace the shoes, that didn’t work for me because there was a timeline I needed them for an overseas trip, and they didn’t have any of my size in stock, but they offered me a gift voucher to the same amount of money.
That wasn’t useful to me, but given I was able to get the shoes dyed I didn’t need it. They still provided a gift voucher which I thought was very generous since I was able to use the shoes.
Still not impressed with the finish obviously and the hassle at a time when I was very busy, but certainly commend Bared for really following through and doing everything they can to make it better. The supportive elements of the shoes are definitely noticeable- I have significant back and hip issues and wearing them for a 7hour wedding with lots of standing did not cause a flare up. Very good.
Original review: They are nice shoes but the first time I wore them some milk got dropped on them at a café, I wiped it off as soon as I saw it about 20 minutes later. Since then, I’ve applied shoe polish four times and the marks are still very evident. When I tried to get advice via the chat and I specifically asked repeatedly for them to reply via email because I don’t have time to sit around on chat all afternoon, the only advice I was given was to take them to a cobbler. I travel constantly and do not have time to take shoes to a cobbler. I have a wedding in less than two weeks I bought these for and don’t know what I’ll do to get that sorted - no time for cobblers working on the road…really unimpressed both with the finish and with the customer service. I can’t add photos here but the stain is clear from a few metres away.”

“I was after a black boot with a low block heel so I can walk easily without falling over, and a pointed toe. These shoes are super comfy! Only thing that annoys me though is the back tug loop gets caught on some loose fitting pants, but otherwise is fabulous”
“These boots were chosen as our work boot and unfortunately I had to size up to 39 but it was sold out. So I had to go in to a store to switch to a different, similar style.
I am often a size 40 but the 39 is perfect, particularly because the shoes come with several inner soles to customize the fit.
