“Ordered a 39, tried it on and the leather is so supple and soft and feels so good, was a little large despite modifying with all the insoles. Exchanged to a 38 and fit a little bit better, the regular insole was a little too snug where the top of my foot was - felt my toes scrunching up but my heels would come out when I walk. Swapped the regular insoles for the thinner ones and wore them all day at work but for some reason the thinner insoles slide where the balls of my feet are and scrunch my toes every time I step so it feels quite uncomfortable (but my heels don’t slip when I walk).
So then I swapped the insoles for the forefoot insoles (the half ones) and now my toes don’t slide/scrunch forward but now my ankle bones sit lower without the regular and thin insole - so the shoe kind of rubs against my ankle bones a bit and it’s still quite stiff.
I really still love these shoes but I’ve been suffering comfort-wise. My whole purpose for this pair was to have something super comfortable to walk in all day at work and future commutes/traveling. It’s only been a day wearing them for 8 hours in the office, where I sit at a desk every now and then. But yeah just mixed feelings bc I still love these, just sad that I have foot pain even when I’m barefoot at home after wearing them
