“Stunning shoe, extremely soft comfortable leather with a solid well made base. True to size / same size as my other Bared shoes. The only thing I’ve noticed is the toe box is quite low so squashes my toes a bit. I’ve also got the Capito and find them a lot roomier at the front”
“The Chauna fell short of my expectations after having a great experience with the Monk. It looked less structured than the image and was roomier than my usual size 38. Grateful for the fit kit. The shoe bit my heel but that’s normal for my feet (same thing happened with the Monk). It does eventually soften when paired with socks and with regular wear.”

“I already have the Elaenia and the Emutail, both made from stiffer, thicker leather. The Chauna leather is soft, supple, and thinner. The shoes are roomy and feel slightly like galoshes. I love them as they're different. Because I have neuromas on the bottoms of my toes, I need more cushioned support on the outsoles, so I had a layer added to the outsoles. They're perfect now. The leather is so soft!”
