“The Cygnet sandal looks great with the mix of tan, white and red.
As someone who wears both standard and barefoot/minimalist shoes (wide toe box, zero drop, light, flexible shoes), I still find these comfortable under foot, though heavier. I need both due to a foot injury that affects my arch which these shoes help with some support (if they were overly restrictive in the arch, these would hurt my foot but they don't).
The leather is quite stiff so the straps need some wearing in to soften.
I'm anywhere between a standard 8 to a 9, but prefer having at least a thumbs worth of space at the end of my toes so they can spread when walking. If you are a standard 8 and don't like excess room, go for the size 38.
I also have the start of a very small bunion (I'm at the prevention stage), but also medium volume across the bulk of my foot and narrow at the ankle and heal. The velcro helps in all the areas to keep my foot safely in place. If you have an overly wide foot, this sandal should fit a range of wider feet (if you're happy to have some velcro on display).
Overall, great looking sandal that should be comfortable wearing all day (haven't attempted yet!).”
