“I love the Amakihi sneaker series! They’re stylish, and once you break them in a bit, they become really comfortable too. The design is lovely, not your usual white sneaker, and the little details really enhance the overall look. I’ve even received a few compliments on how nice they look!
I’m giving them four stars only because of a couple of small issues. First, a half-star deduction because they rubbed against my heel and broke the skin, so I had to take a break from wearing them while my heels healed. I guess that’s fairly common with new shoes, but it’s worth noting that the back is quite stiff and takes a while to soften up.
I’d also deduct another half star because the leather seems quite delicate and not very durable. I accidentally bumped my foot against the bottom of a door. It didn’t seem very hard, but it still left some light scratches on the leather on the top of the shoe. So, something to keep in mind: be a little careful when wearing them.”
