“These sandals have the sofest leather and a very supportive sole and were so comfortable straight out of the box. I typically wear a 40 in Bared shoes (down from my normal 41 in most other brands) but needed to size down to a 39 in this one as the footbed of the 40 was too long. The adjustable strap allows you to get the fit around the ankle just right and in conjunction with the supple leather there was no "breaking in" as is sometimes the case with stiffer leather sandals. The chocolate colour is divine, with a hint of plum, but the black would be fab also.”
