However for the first time, despite going into the store and trying on before I purchased -not something I always do as the fit of bared has been consistently excellent, the wedgebill doesn't fit right and is “eating” my socks. I have tried all types of sock wear and it happens with everyone of them. I can’t put in any of the extra footbeds as it makes the shoes too tight across the instep and toes. It is a shame as they are gorgeous shoes and very comfortable and versatile. My first Bared fail after years and countless successful shoe purchases.”
