“I deliberated for ages over these as I have a recently diagnosed Morton’s neuroma and I wouldn’t be able to put my orthotics in these. I made full use of the loans service and tried other styles. I was after something smart for a black tie event…ideally patent. I finally took the plunge and wore them last night. I had only worn them previously for about an hour in the house. I had these on for 6.5 hrs including some dancing. They were brilliant! They have a nice roomy toe box which was key for me. The heel is just enough of a lift but very comfortable. There are squashy bits in the inner sole that feel great. I could adjust the strap as desired and this kept the shoe secure. It’s a style that reminds me of a child’s party shoes and I’ve not previously been a fan of Mary Jane’s but I can totally see the reasoning behind the design as it works! In fact the style is quite sweet, also smart and primarily comfortable so I’m very happy with my purchase. I am in the uk and customer services have been amazing…I’m getting a lot of Bared boxes with things to try at the moment as I quite literally have to get rid ALL of my rather large shoe collection!
