“Love the quality of this band. It’s hard to find good bands that fit g-shocks specific width since the lug is one size but the watch itself is wider.”
“The Barton G-Shock watchstrap is the best currently available option available.
It is superior to the adaptor method because the steel adaptor is not flexible enough to mate well with the plastic watchcase, which leads to the strap disengaging willy-nilly.
When this happens, and it’s always a surprise, the hard-to-find 16mm spring pins are lost.
Barton Pros:
1.It works; and the tool-less, quick-change spring pins make installation and removal easy (a normally tedious task).
2. The inclusion of both a short and a long strap option is another plus.
Barton Cons:
1. Watch straps with vent holes are always appreciated in hot weather (especially when tastefully applied/arranged).
2. A narrower taper, a thinner profile, and a less bulky buckle (with a stainless-steel option) would be nice.
3. Despite the marketing inspired superlative ‘Elite’, it’s a bit pricy.”
“I really like this watch band. It’s very comfortable and has become my daily wear. I bought several after the first one worked-out so well. I just wish it was 2mm wider at the lugs to accommodate the width of the watch itself.”
“Excellent product. Although the gw 5000 has a superior band this one blows it outta the water. Soft and comfy all day long. Minor gripe is that it’s slightly smaller than the tapered band that’s common to g shocks but it creates a distinctive look anyway. Would recommend 10/10”
“Excellent product as usual! Have 5 other bands from this brand for other watches. Just got one for the G shock ad the OEM band is terrible.
Excellent fit and comfortable!”
“Great feel, great quality, nice hardware AND... TWO hole sections are provided; regular length and short (perfect fit on my six-inch wrist!). The watch strap industry largely ignores the thinner-wristed among us so bravo, Barton. Now, how about making straps for us with BOTH pieces sized for the smaller-wristed among us. On the whole though, well done!”
