“This is a great rubber strap. It has clearly more heft than the silicon equivalent and in a nice way. wear comfort is excellent and it looks even sharper than the silicon version. I also noted what other reviewers noted about the keepers being tight. However, that resolved itself after a couple days of use - keepers are just fine note and band slips through well.
The only downside is price. At $60 this is a costly fkm strap. It should probably be more around $45-50. However, it is unique in its form and appearance, excellent quality, nice thickness… I don’t regret buying it and would do so again.”
“I've purchased numerous FKM straps from various brands The Barton Elite FKM is hands down the best I've worn. It has a great "heft" to it and Barton's classic "Elite" texture design. Comfortable and presumably very durable. Looks great on my Citizen Field watch and would rock.on any diver or other tool watch.”
“Not a good fit for me. The rubber is too thick and does not wrap around the wrist comfortably. Very hard to buckle also. The loops are too tight for the excess band to pass through. on a positive the band seems like it is very durable that would outlive the watch, and it does have a softer fit than the silicone bands.”
