“I'm a big fan of Barton Elite Silicone watch bands, but I would recommend staying away from this G-Shock adaptor. I had the adaptor installed by a watch smith because I couldn't get one of the sides to lock in easily. It seemed to be fine after that, but after a few days of wearing the watch, one of the adaptors fell out. After looking at the end piece with a loop, I could see that the metal spring bar had wore a grove in the watch, because it could not sit properly in the hole due to the adaptor misalignment.”
“The adaptors do not hold in place at all. Using the provided spring bars the watch came off my wrist 4 times in one day due to the spring bars popping loose. This is not my first after market band. I watched install videos, and followed the instructions. Very disappointing as the Barton Bands themselves are excellent. This product needs to be pulled if it works this poorly.”
“It took 4 hours to install the G-Shock adapters, and I just eventually got lucky. That is not quality. Would not recommend purchase until Barton gets decent G-Shock adapter. The band, of course, is fabulous.”
