“These adaptors are metal and feel well made. They are tough to install though- this is not a quick swap thing. Be committed. These are difficult to install. I recommend having a tiny flathead screwdriver and a spring bar tool to help the spring bar find the hole in the watch lug. Be patient. It’ll eventually go.
With the adaptors installed, the effective lug-to-lug distance is reaaalllyyy long, so with my 6.5” wrist, i’m almost all the way at the “smallest” hole on two piece straps. I recommend using the shorter of the two lower straps if you use a Barton Elite Silicone strap with these.
For the nato strap itself, its excellent just like all the rest of the Barton Elite natos. Thick, soft, durable, looks great.
With a nato on a G-Shock, be prepared for the watch to sit much higher than it does with a two piece strap. Feels a little strange but it is comfortable. If it annoys you, use a two piece strap.
Fun little mod for a square G-Shock if you really, really don’t like the OEM resin strap. These adaptors cost more than the a replacement G-Shock strap, so there’s that.”
