“I like this style of band, where the leather is the only thing that makes contact with your skin. It's a viable option for people with metal allergies. I haven't worn it very long, but I have no complaints. The actual product looks like the pictures on the Barton website, so you can decide for yourself if you like the look of the band. I was surprised by the thin-ness of the band. I was expecting a stiffer leather like a belt.”

“I wasn’t impressed at first glance when I took it out of the plastic; being a full-grain leather fanatic for years. I tried it on my Timex Weekender and I remembered thinking, ‘This is nicer than expected’. Wore it for the first time and was extremely glad I didn’t have to fold over the excess length back onto the keeper (got the 10” version). My only concern would be the durability of the keepers as it is made of the same leather as the strap. If they do detach after months of use, I can only hope it’s user-repairable with a touch of industrial glue. Other than that, I think this watch strap is a winner: it looks great, feels great, and the price is more than fair.”
