Great strap! Nice leather on the inside. Goes very well with a blue faced Hamilton Khaki. Strong and comfortable.

Well constructed but stiff and the nylon above the holes abrades immediately.

I’ve liked all of my other bands from Barton. This particular sail cloth band frayed on me the first time unbuckling the band to remove from my wrist. Three weeks later it has just gotten worse over time since I’ve continued to use it. Probably should have returned but I didn’t. I bought another sailcloth strap in navy and it has not frayed nearly as much as my other gray one. These are the only Sailcloth straps I own so I don’t know if fraying around the holes is “normal”, it seems excessive for such little use. Quick release is amazing tho.

Band was very stiff and the fabric around the holes started fraying very quickly. Even if the strap softened up this would’ve likely bothered me. I returned it and BB replaced with a different strap with no hassle.
