“I bought 2 Dreamer Kayaks online, and overall they are OK/ good.
My family has average to above average leg sizes, as such I had to remove the leg pads then literally cut off the protruding plastic brackets which held the leg pads - a significant 2 hour job which included electrical tools and hand files. Obviously these Kayak are made for little Chinese legs, not big Aussie legs.
The Kayaks are also a little tippy, and harder to balance than other kayaks I have used. They are not well suited for adult beginners.
We have used the Kayaks 6 times in the last 2 weeks totaling about 35kms, in lakes, reservoirs, and rivers. They are quick and manovable, easy to get on and off the car, and have provided a lot of joy. They are not as stable as others I have used, and definitely have limited abilities/ no ability in open seas or very windy conditions which create choppy water.
I have not bought skirts for them, and we never had intentions for them to be used in open bays or in the sea.
In hindsight I should have purchased a deeper V hule which is more stable and able to handle rougher conditions, although this would have doubled the budget.”
