“I've now had my Bay Sports Pedal Pro Fish 3.2m Pedal kayak for just on a month and have fished it hard over several dozen outings in my local waterways. I've very quickly fallen in love with this kayak for its functionality and useability. The kayak handles estuarine waterways with ease, its super stable and the pedal drive delivers good mobility and manoeuvrability (in particular the ability to go into instant reverse by pedalling backwards is a big advantage for fishing when you need to backdown on a fish or reposition in a tight mangrove situation). There are lots of well thought-out features on the kayak such as a plethora of tracks, lots of storage spaces, retractable rudder and a very comfy and adjustable seat (so lots of potential to customise as you see fit). I’m just now thinking about adding a sounder and again lots of options re transducer location. One additional accessory I bought was the special wheels that can be fitted to this kayak which mean you do not have to mess around taking wheels on and off the kayak and can literally wheel the kayak on and off the water without any messing around. With the addition of some K-Racks you can very easily transport the kayak by yourself on and off the car and be on the water without much hassle. The flathead and jewfish in my local waterway are getting very familiar with this kayak with plenty of fish hitting the deck in the last month. Thoroughly recommend this kayak for those after a no-nonsense estuary fishing platform.”
