If you had a 6th star, I would click that. The best BBQ I have ever seen in action. I am going to have to up my grilling game.

Great quality and comes with everything needed for all types of cooking. The Divide and Conquer system is very good allowing searing of steaks, for example, then moving them to indirect heat to finish cooking, roasting and slow and low smoking. I also purchased the cast iron griddle and grill options which work brilliantly. If I were buying again I probably would go for the Classic II, the Big Joe is indeed BIG and burns a good amount of charcoal when searing or grilling, I went for the Big Joe for the odd occasion when we have a large group of friends but seeing as this is fairly infrequent the Classic would have been a better choice for almost all of its use. The Big Joe is also phenomenally heavy making it difficult to slot into its cradle because it has to be lifted by the bottom vent aperture which is lower than the cradle top bar, trying to swap positions while lowering a 75kg section is challenging even for 2 healthy 35 year olds.
