“Price is appropriate, EFI allows for instant start of the engine. Very comfortable riding in varied and hilly terrain. Stated MPH is 43, max was able to attain on a concrete road and off-road with a 160lb person was 36.4. Acceleration is modest, takes a few seconds to get up to speed. Climbing was OK and achieved the stated level of 18 degrees. was able to do 22 degrees. Headlights work great at night. I added 2 whip lights for visibility (required in the area I show in pictures (El Mirage, California desert). Brakes and shocks are great. Fits a 10-year-old girl driving and a 250lb man. The plan is to have this for many years of enjoyment. Barely fits in my 5x8 trailer (width of front wheel base was exactly 5ft. Support for getting a spare tire and answering general mechanical questions is tops.
The whole family loves riding it compared to my old Manco gokart.
The only thing I would love to have is a Japanese engine in it because of the reliability. But after all my research and speaking with the BDX mechanic. I hope this will last for the long term.
