Short Case GY6 QMB139 Scooter Engine 50cc, 80cc or 100cc 100cc Big Bore Racing Engine Reviews

4.7 Rating 3 Reviews
Bought this engine about 4 years ago, and I've put 25k miles on it. The crank shaft bearing are worn out now, but I can't really complain. I deducted one star because the head they sent didn't have the big valves, and the springs were really soft, so I was floating valves before even redlining the engine. Overall, very satisfied though. It's a shame the price has gone up so much since I bought it (by about $200,) but I know it's not your fault.

I’ve never touched a scooter engine before but the swap was pretty easy to do it took about two hrs and the only thing I had to install separately was a carb I also bought from them, before the swap I would top out at 28 mph but after the swap I got it upto 53 mph and that’s off a gps Speedo app,I went all the way and went with the 44 mm stroker crank,,I’ve since bought a 600cc Silverwing but my little scooter ain’t going nowhere,it’s part of my stable.
