Our serum contains powerful ingredients that can overwhelm beginners who haven't used a lash serum before, especially since the skin around our eyes is so sensitive. Typically, irritation occurs for 1 of these three reasons: too much product applied, too frequent application or eyes are not used to new products.
For your reference, here's our beginner's guide to using Essential Serum:
1. We always recommend beginners starting their lash journey for the first time to begin applying serum every 2-3 days before ramping up to daily use to give your eyes time to adjust.
2. Ensure skin and lashes are completely dry and wipe away any excess liquid before applying. Apply a thin line to the skin above the lashes.
3. Less is more; one wand dip is enough for both eyes.
4. Apply to the top lash line only.
5. Allow the product to dry.
