Typically, irritation occurs for 1 of these three reasons: too much product applied, too frequent application or eyes are not used to new products.
For your reference, here's our beginner's guide to using Essential Serum:
1. We always recommend beginners starting their lash journey for the first time to begin applying serum every 2-3 days before ramping up to daily use to give your eyes time to adjust.
2. Ensure skin and lashes are completely dry and wipe away any excess liquid before applying. Apply a thin layer to the brow line.
3. Less is more; one wand dip is enough for both eyes.
4. Allow the product to dry.
