Brasserie St Germain, Page 24, Blonde
Characteristics:

It is light and fresh, with a beautiful light blond colour. Its rich and delicate aromatic palette has won it many awards at professional Trade Fairs.
Enjoy with:

Very thirst quenching drunk as an aperitif, it also makes a superb accompaniment for red meat and the traditional mussels and chips of Northern France.

This french Blonde beer is remarkably smooth and subtle which belies it 5.9% strength. To me it sits between an ale and a lager, having the lighter taste more like a lager but without the bubbles and smooth as ale. Taste it at Cafe Rouge (its no ton the menu but they stock it!!) then you too will come back here and order a case or two! not the cheapest but the nicest beer I have tasted in a long time. Hope this helps. Enjoy!
