Balayage 220g 22" Hair Extensions #1C Mochachino Brown/ #18 Dirty Blonde Reviews

3.5 Rating 301 Reviews
I ordered the Balayage 220g 22" Hair Extensions #1C Mochachino Brown/ #18 Dirty Blonde. These are the worst quality extensions that I have ever owned and I have worn clip-in extensions for the past three years! I should have just gone to Sallys and purchase some because the ones I had from Sallys were way better quality. I am unable to curl or straighten the extensions because it burns the hair. And, yes, I had it on the lowest possible heat setting. As I was curling the hair, melted pieces of hair were left on the curling iron. I question whether these are even 100% human hair. What a waste of over $300.00. I can't wear them unless I take them to my hairdresser to get her to cut all the dead, frizzy pieces off. I am very displeased. Do not buy these extensions!

So this was my first time trying out the Guy Tang extensions, previously I had the Khaleesi set which I highly recommend to everyone. I think I was initially nervous about purchasing these because I have a bob and I was scared that it was going to be just straight across blonde, but it was a nice transformation to the blonde that's at the end. The only issue I had with these extensions were the constant matting. Only pair of extensions I've purchased that matted consistently and I've been buying extensions for over 5 years now. This caused me to have to brush them out a lot more than normal, also I noticed chunks of hair would come out of the wefts even when I used the appropriate tools for extensions to cause less damage. Usually I can keep a set of hair extensions for at least 6 months sometimes even a year because I take really good care of them, but these only lasted me about 2 months. I could have possibly just gotten a bad batch, cause like I've said I've tried Bellami previously and the hair was absolutely gorgeous and lasted me for about a year. I did get a lot of compliments on the color and I did like the look so I do plan on buying another set in hopes that it just happened to be a bad set.
