I'm not eloquent, nor am I an expert in describing flavors. However this is absolutely the best honey!! I've tried your variations & always come back to the original. 1-2 jars a month. I carry a small jar in my purse so wherever I drink my tea I can enjoy this honey. I've offered tastes to waiters who immediately write down the name. Their comments- BEST HONEY EVER TASTED. Now if only the restaurants would start offering.. I recommended this honey to Simpson & Vail Teas. Not sure if they are going to stock. I tried the honey they offered from Canada. Nice, but too sweet. Doesn't come close to BIB. Will be recommending again. Shame more upscale or gourmet type cafes & coffee houses are missing the boat. As far as I'm concerned no restaurant, cafe, or establishment that fails to serve this honey is progressive , trendy, or upscale. Far as I'm concerned they are still in the 1980's when you couldn't find anything but Lipton tea, if that. The majority of honey provided is awful. The honey in packets, not sure if that can even be called honey. Tea drinkers & honey lovers are still being overlooked in the restaurant/food industry. I wish there was a way to return the jars... Thank you for making my day every time I have a cup of tea or just a wonderful taste of this fabulous honey!

It may seem a bit pricey due to the shipping cost, but the quality of the honey can't be beat. Perhaps occasional free shipping to loyal customers would be appreciated.

We first experienced Ohia Lehua honey while on the big island. We bought some to bring home. It has a unique flavor and is a creamy texture, thicker than regular liquid honey. We love it on toast and it is also wonderful in tea. We have ordered more honey from the website twice and it has come quickly and well packaged. We now order the largest size jar of this great product.

I love this honey. It's wonderfully sweet and melts well into sauces. It's one of the only honeys that doesn't trigger my allergy symptoms, too!

I love all the different types of honey Big Island has. I just purchased 3 big bottles of Ohia Lehua honey. I loved this flower when I lived on Kauai and would stop to smell them whenever I saw a tree. I have so many bottles now that it will be a while before I order again, but I'll never stop eating this honey. I live in NM so I miss the fragrant trees of Hawaii. Keep those bees busy and keep them happy as the honey is fabulous.
